“Discoverers” is a journey of sensations through a new land brimming with hopes, sounds and images, where every day brings fresh discoveries. The birth of a child and the first months and years of life are a constant process of discovery. An encounter with people and customs that are always new. We explore the motherhoods of symbolic mothers (from Portugal, Brazil, Africa, India, Timor and China) and their ways of rocking, caressing and being with their babies; we explore their babies, their roots and traditions, colours, smells, glimmers and sounds; we explore the essence of motherhood, drawing on elements from these regions.
More than applause, more than criticism, they watch, listen, absorb, interact, intervene, are amazed, get angry, laugh and sometimes cry. These are raw emotions where nothing is what it seems and everything is exactly as it appears!

This category of projects brings together a set of artistic proposals aimed at young audiences, as well as families, school groups, or private audiences.
We consider artistic creation designed to educate audiences to be fundamental, but above all we believe that every individual should have access to cultural enjoyment regardless of their age. We also believe that these projects allow us to explore personal experiences and develop languages of artistic communication, creating very specific norms, such as dialogue with babies…
